Squirrelo respects intellectual property. The Service is a user-initiated local archive tool: media parsing and saving run on the client, and we do not store or redistribute archived media on our servers. If you believe infringement has occurred, notify us using the process below.

1. Designated agent

Please put “DMCA” or “Copyright Complaint” in the subject line so we can prioritize your message.

2. Contents of a valid notice

A signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent (electronic signature acceptable);

Identification of the copyrighted work and information reasonably sufficient to locate the material (such as a URL or account-related details);

Your name, address, telephone number, and email address;

A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law;

A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

3. Response timeline

After we receive a valid notice, we will acknowledge and begin review within 24–48 hours.

For material within our control (for example site content or account-related pages), we will take reasonable steps such as removal or disabling access. For activity that occurs only on a user’s device, we will cooperate as permitted by applicable law and retain records as needed.

4. Counter-notice

If material was removed or disabled because of a notice, the affected user may submit a counter-notice with identity details, a description of the material, a good-faith statement that the removal was mistaken, and consent to jurisdiction. We will follow applicable legal procedures.

5. Repeat infringers

We may limit or terminate access for accounts that repeatedly infringe.
