How to Back Up Your Own Douyin Posts to a Computer

Phones get replaced and accounts can run into problems — keeping a copy of your own Douyin posts on your computer protects your work. Squirrelo lets you paste links to posts you published and save them in original quality to a local folder.
1. Install Squirrelo
Download the Windows or macOS build from the official Squirrelo site and install it (Windows 10+ / macOS 12+).

2. Copy links to your own posts
Open your Douyin profile, choose the posts you want to keep, and copy their share links.
Only include posts you published yourself, or materials the author has authorized you to keep.
3. Save in original quality
Paste the links into Squirrelo. Parsing and saving run on your computer; our servers never receive your media.
Keep the original quality for future edits, or convert to H.264, HEVC, AV1, WebM, or MP3 as needed.
